From J33 of the M1 follow the signs for 'city centre' (approx. Eight miles). At Park Square roundabout follow the A57 Glossop signs towards university and hospitals. Go straight over Brook Hill roundabout, remaining on the A57. After 100 yards turn left at the sign for Jessop wing and the Childrens Hospital and go down the hill. Then turn right at the traffic lights onto Glossop Road. Stay in the right hand lane, pass the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Rutland Hotel is situated on the right.
